Movement Changes Lives. Communities Change Movements.
An invitation to shape what's next for AGEnts of Movement.
One of the greatest surprises since launching AGEnts of Movement has been the people it has attracted.
Every conversation I have, every webinar question, every email, every social media post by followers, reminds me that there are incredible people doing this work. You are movement leaders who genuinely care about helping people live better as they age.
You’re curious, generous with your ideas, and you’re willing to challenge long-held assumptions about aging and movement.
It has been one of the greatest gifts of this journey.
It has also made me realize that many of us spend our days creating opportunities for connection for other people, yet we often do our own work in isolation.
We ask older adults to find belonging through movement. We encourage them to build relationships, learn from one another, and experience the joy of being part of something bigger than themselves.
Where do the professionals go to experience that?
Throughout my career, the moments that have energized me the most have been the conversations that happen when thoughtful people gather around an important question.
I’ve seen it in the OATS (Older Adult Training Sistas) Mastermind. In the conversations between physical therapists and community fitness professionals. Through the Ability, Not Age Task Force. And coming soon, the Learning Lab series.
When passionate people come together, something shifts.
Ideas become better. Problems become shared instead of carried alone. Collaboration replaces competition. Innovation happens because we’re willing to learn from one another rather than trying to figure everything out ourselves.
I don’t believe the future of healthy aging will be created by one organization or one profession.
It will be built by a community.
One that is willing to ask better questions.
One that shares what’s working, and what’s not.
One that challenges outdated narratives around aging and helps each other create movement experiences that foster health, confidence, purpose, and connection.
That’s the kind of community I want AGEnts of Movement to become.
Not another platform, but a gathering place.
A place where people who believe movement can change lives also have a place to connect, think, experiment, encourage one another, and continue growing together.
I don’t have all the answers for what that looks like yet.
I don’t want to build it by myself. I’d rather build it with you.
I’d love your thoughts.
Would a community like this be valuable to you?
What would make you want to participate?
What kind of support, conversations, or connections would help you do your best work?
I’ve put together a short survey because I’d love your input before taking the next step.
If AGEnts of Movement is going to become a true community, I want it to be shaped by the people who will make it meaningful.
Thank you for being one of them.
The Webinar Library Is Growing... and Getting a New Name
When I first launched the AGEnts of Movement Webinar Library, my goal was to have an online resource from leaders in healthy aging available anytime, anywhere.
The collection has grown to include webinars on social connection, disability inclusion, fall resilience, inclusive programming, and more with new sessions continuing to be added.
As the library has evolved, it’s becoming an ongoing professional development resource for movement professionals who want fresh ideas, practical strategies, and inspiration to create more meaningful movement experiences.
Beginning September 1, the Webinar Library will become the AGEnts of Movement Learning Library.
Along with the new name, the price will increase from $50 to $69 to reflect the growing collection and continued investment in new content.
Anyone who purchases access before September 1 will lock in the current Founding Member price of $50 and receive access to all future additions to the Learning Library at no additional cost.
Thank you for supporting AGEnts of Movement and helping me continue building resources that empower movement professionals to elevate their impact.

Introducing Stand Up to Falls
Falls Prevention Month is an important opportunity, but too often it becomes a collection of awareness posters, handouts, and one-off balance activities.
This year, StrongerU Senior Fitness is raising the standard of Falls Prevention Month.
This September, StrongerU is launching a special Stand Up to Falls Cohort of the StrongerU Senior Fitness Instructor Course, designed to help you deliver a purposeful, evidence-based four-week falls prevention program throughout November.
Rather than focusing on a few isolated balance exercises, Stand Up to Falls helps older adults enhance their strength, cardiovascular endurance, coordination, agility, reaction time, and confidence to support safer movement every day.
Participants in the cohort will receive:
• Enrollment in the StrongerU Senior Fitness Instructor Course
• A complete four-week Stand Up to Falls program ready to deliver during Falls Prevention Month
• Supporting education and implementation resources
• One year of monthly StrongerU class content to help maintain momentum long after November ends
If reducing falls, improving resident outcomes, and strengthening your wellness programming is a priority for you, then learn more and join the wait list HERE.
AGEnts of Movement is committed to making movement education free for professionals and classes accessible for older adults
