We Don't Need More Information. We Need Better Conversations.
The AGEnts of Movement Learning Labs series is bringing together leading voices in movement, community, and healthy aging.
Our field doesn’t suffer from a lack of information. Every week there’s another webinar, conference, podcast, or research paper promising the latest evidence or best practice.
What’s often missing is a place to slow down, wrestle with new ideas, and ask:
What does this actually mean for the people I serve?
That’s the idea behind the AGEnts of Movement Learning Labs.
This is a collaborative learning series reimagining movement, wellness, and aging well.
Why a Learning Lab?
Healthy aging is changing.
We’re learning more about the importance of social connection, belonging, purpose, play, confidence, and autonomy. We’re recognizing that movement is a pathway to community, identity, and possibility.
These ideas don’t fit neatly into a one-hour lecture.
They deserve conversation.
The Learning Labs are designed to create a space where movement professionals, recreation leaders, therapists, healthcare providers, and activity professionals can come together to explore the questions that will shape the future of our field.
A Different Kind of Professional Development
Each Learning Lab is a live, moderated roundtable featuring guest contributors from across the fields of healthy aging, movement, wellness, recreation, and community.
Rather than a traditional webinar, each Learning Lab features guest contributors sharing the expertise, experiences, and perspectives they've gained through their work. Participants are invited to ask questions, engage with the discussion, and learn from leaders who are actively advancing the fields of movement, wellness, and healthy aging.
More Than Learning
My hope is that participants will leave with:
New ideas to experiment with.
Fresh perspectives.
Practical strategies to apply immediately.
Innovation rarely happens in isolation.
It happens when dedicated professionals gather around meaningful questions.

Introducing Stand Up to Falls
Falls Prevention Month is an important opportunity, but too often it becomes a collection of awareness posters, handouts, and one-off balance activities.
This year, StrongerU Senior Fitness is raising the standard of Falls Prevention Month.
This September, StrongerU is launching a special Stand Up to Falls Cohort of the StrongerU Senior Fitness Instructor Course, designed to help you deliver a purposeful, evidence-based four-week falls prevention program throughout November.
Rather than focusing on a few isolated balance exercises, Stand Up to Falls helps older adults enhance their strength, cardiovascular endurance, coordination, agility, reaction time, and confidence to support safer movement every day.
Participants in the cohort will receive:
• Enrollment in the StrongerU Senior Fitness Instructor Course
• A complete four-week Stand Up to Falls program ready to deliver during Falls Prevention Month
• Supporting education and implementation resources
• One year of monthly StrongerU class content to help maintain momentum long after November ends
If reducing falls, improving resident outcomes, and strengthening your wellness programming is a priority for you, then learn more and join the wait list HERE.
